The Morcott Challenge
History

The Morcott Challenge was created in Dornoch , Scotland in 2004 on the initiative of Woody Morcott and Jim Campbell and with the Hilton Head Island help of PGA Member and former successful player on the Senior Tour Jim Ferree. The first Cup was played over Easter 2005 in Hilton Head Island. The match has been played since then every year alternating between Dornoch and Hilton Head Island.

The purpose and objective was to establish friendship with each other while learning about the culture of the others and participating in a 54 hole 3 day golf tournament.

Every year a cultural event is planned in conjunction with the tournament.
